    I have several problems with the responsive Fotogenic theme on my mobile phone. My photography website, Tom Yoshida Photography looks quite nice on my laptop but the hero image is too large for proper viewing and cannot be adjusted. But on a mobile phone, this hero image doesn’t even appear and again, would be too large for viewer comfort. However, the most critical flaw on this responsive theme is the website returning to the home panel from any link whenever the phone is rotated for a landscape view of the posted image. Mobile viewers far outnumber laptop users like myself so these are critical issues that should never occur using responsive themes and until corrected, make any attempts to increase visitor traffic a waste of time.

    Hello there,

    Please copy the below code in Additional CSS of the customizer.

    @media (max-width: 979px){
    	.mt-fotogenic-content-wrapper,
    	.mt-thumb-title-wrapper
    	{
    		background-attachment:scroll;
    	}
    }
    @media(max-width: 767px){
    	.mt-fotogenic-content-wrapper,
    	.mt-thumb-title-wrapper{
    		min-height:400px!important;
    	}
    }

    Thanks 🙂

    The hero image still isn’t displayed but the size is correct.

    I apologize for asking the wrong question. I am creating an Android App for my website and these issues occur within the app, not on phones using the Google browser. I corrected the problem of post views returning to the home panel myself within the Android App but the website will still not rotate from profile to landscape view which is also critical and the hero image will not appear.

    Hello there,

    We have checked the hero image and mobile screen rotate issues in the browser and we found no such issues.
    We would like to request you to check it again in the browser and it would be better if you would be able to share the screenshots of your issues so that we would be clear.

    Thanks 🙂

    These issues do not occur when viewing your theme in a browser but only in an Android App. I have a screenshot of the app showing the blank home panel but see no way of attaching the image. `

    Hello there

    May be due to the issue in android app you are facing such issue so we recommend you to debug problem in android app. If you are seeing fine in browser then site was fine and nothing issue on it.

    Thanks

    I have fixed every issue within my Android Ap except for the hero image which still doesn’t appear when the App begins. All the links work properly and the rotation responds correctly so solving this last problem would be terrific.

    Hello there,

    We can only fix the issues within the website but not on the android app. Sorry, we can’t help you with the android app.

    Thanks

    I understand that this issue…the hero image failing to display on an android app, is beyond your responsibilities but I doubt it is beyond your expertise. Every other major feature of the website theme works properly on the app which strongly suggests the problem resides within the website theme itself and could be corrected with additional CSS coding. The Fotogenic theme is an attractive and fully functional responsive web design but this one critical flaw reflects poorly on your company and may discourage other WordPress users and web designers from choosing to use your products for their own projects.
